Whether you have attended church your whole life or are visiting for the first time, we are happy to have you here. We want you to know that no matter what you’re carrying in life, you are welcome at Lakepoint.
We want everyone who enters the doors to know that they are loved and wanted, and we look forward to meeting you!
Meet the Team
Tom & Pam Fox
Born and raised in the Keizer area, Tom is one of the planting team members of Lakepoint Community Church. He previously served as an associate pastor with two other Foursquare churches on the west coast.
He calls the weekends we spend together a “relaxed, spirit filled, non-spooky experience with a wonderful mix of engaging worship and practical teaching”.
Tom and his wife, Pam, have four adult children, Jimmy, Danny, Alex & Annie. Reading, everything outdoors and time with the family are what he enjoys most.
Rachel is part of the original team that planted Lakepoint back in 2008 and has served on staff since then. She wears many hats, but her main focus is being the Executive Pastor.
She also serves as the Service and Event Coordinator for the church. Community outreach is a passion of hers and she loves to see the members of Lakepoint come together with others to meet the needs of the community.
She and her husband, Ryan, have three adult children, Brenden, Ashley and Jordan. In her downtime, Rachel enjoys spending time with her family and friends, reading, date nights with her husband and dreaming about her next Pinterest project.
Children’s Ministry Director
Amy accepted Jesus into her heart at the age of seven and has been volunteering in Children’s Ministry since before she was out of elementary school herself.
She has been the Children’s Ministry Director at Lakepoint since 2014 and oversees the children from birth through 5th grade. Amy works closely with volunteers to plan curriculum and KidZone events throughout the week.
You can find her playing with the kids on any given Sunday morning in KidZone. She loves having coffee with friends, babysitting her nephew and watching movie trailers.
Middle School Ministry Director
Joshua was born in Washington, but has grown up in Oregon all his life. Over the last several years, he spent his time serving Monmouth Christian Church as an associate worship pastor.
Relatively new to youth ministries, Joshua is thrilled about watching God move in the hearts of the middle schoolers and developing as a leader! In pursuit of deeper understanding and growth, Joshua is attending Reach Training Institute for a degree in Christian Ministries.
In his spare time, he enjoys spending quality time with friends and with his pretty neat girlfriend!
David & Monique Miller
High School Ministry Directors
David joined the Lakepoint church family in the fall of 2017 and Mo followed closely behind the following year. These two are currently serving as the the High School Ministry Directors.
Much of what they do is in an effort to be there for the youth of Lakepoint; they prepare messages, coordinate small groups, spend time with high schoolers, and the like.
Mo enjoys playing soccer (she is currently a goalie for Corban University). She also likes longboarding, painting, and being outside in general.
David can typically be found playing video games, coordinating games of DnD, spending time outdoors, and painting. They are also both rather fond of spending time together – the two were married in the summer of 2019.
Shane is a native Oregonian and wouldn’t have it any other way! Playing guitar, teaching, recording, writing, performing… he has been making music for 40 years. He has been deeply involved in music ministries for 20 years and been a regular worship leader and contributor at Lakepoint for the past 5.
When he’s not playing or anything else music related, you’ll probably find him at home with his wife, Crystal, and daughter, Kyera… reading, watching a movie, or… napping.
Tiffany has been on staff part-time since August 2015. Her current role is that of IT and special projects including website management, volunteer coordinating, set-up/tear-down liaison, and various other administrative responsibilities.
She is a transplant from Southern California and a graduate from U of O. She spends her time traveling, sipping tea, and teaching her socially-inept chihuahua, Chai, to be a dog.
